The Corn Palace Invitational is a prestigious two-day, two-person golf tournament held annually at Wild Oak Golf Course in Mitchell, South Dakota. This event attracts amateur golfers from across the region, offering a competitive yet welcoming atmosphere.
Format:
- Chicago Points System (per USGA Rules)
- (eagle=6pts birdie=4pts par=2pts bogie=1pts double bogie or worse=0pts)
- (Quota is based off of 34 points, rather than the standard 36)
Requirements:
- You must have a partner and MUST have an active GHIN handicap from the current season.
- Two-day tournament, starting of Friday and concluding on Saturday. Practice round will be Thursday.
Entry Fee: TBD
- Chipping contest & long drive contest will follow play on Friday.
- You can pay for the long drive when you register.
Qualification for the chipping contest:
- 12 people closest to the pin (on the green) on hole 12 during regulation play on Friday.
